Few and Far Between

I have such a diffacult time with this new blogger account. Can't ever remember my password. ANYWAY!!!! I have been busy in my vegetable and flower gardens. It is so great to be outside so much. I can't hardly make myself stay inside and do laundry ot all of the other stuff that calls my name. Mowing, weed wacking, trimming, pulling weeds and pinching back tomatoe plants. Its great.

We had a zillion kittens this year. Glad that is over. Today I took rest of the kittens that I couldn't give away to the ARL. I hated to do it but this way they will have a decent chance at getting a home.

I have been picking rasberries for about 6 days now with more to come. Last week we had a terrible storm hit on Friday and you guessed it, we lost power. We didn't have power until Saterday at around 6:00p.m. We were gone all day on Saterday but when we got home our power had just come on. We then had to wetvac the basement as we had almost an inch of water in the basement. And I cooked the rest of the evening all of the food that had thawed and was still good.
Sunday the Alex, Mariah and Cahlen came out for lunch and swam. It was there anniversary. Just Alex and Mariahs, not Cahlens, Alex and Mariahs. One year. Wow that flew by.
On Monday Kinzie came out and swam in the afternoon. She is a kick.

I have been walking everyday, well everyday except Sundays. I can really tell that it is making a difference in my thigh muscles that were pretty much shot after my knee surgeries. Right now I only have one goal. To develop the habit. The habit of excersice. Not going for faster times or longer yet just being faithful. I can actually say that when I wake up I think to myself, well you should get your walking clothes on and start. If I lay there longer I start to feel quilty. Even if I start out feeling sluggish by the time I round the first bend on the road I am felling better and glad that I did it.
Today I woke up later than usual. I don't know why. I woke up at 6:00 and looked at the clock and thought that I should get up and go out then because I knew that it was going to be hot today but I feel back asleep and woke up at 6:45. I was supposed to be at Layne and Sara's to watch the girls at 8:30 but I decided that if I just went for 25 min. it would be better than nothing and I wouldn't have skipped a day. So I did. I was glad that I did.
Duke still enjoys the walk and comes home and goes right back to bed. Bum!

The mornings really are fabulous. The air smells so fresh and the sun has not had a chance to burn off the mist totally. It's beautiful. But one thing that is disturbing to me is that there is a deer that is out to get my new trees in the front yard. I don't understand why with acres and acres of trees he is loving myn but he is and has almost destroyed it.

Tommorrow I am going to have lunch with my sister and cousin Robin. That will be fun. I haven't seen Rob for quite awhile. She is so sweet and I just love talking to her. It will be fun.

Not much else to talk about. Let's just hope that I can remember the stupid password to get back on here again. Wish me luck.
