Finally

I have been trying to post forever on this board. Finally I made it. What has been happening? Well we went to Glenwood Springs, CO for Alex's graduation. We had a great time. We went hiking twice. Once at the Colorado National Monument and again at Hanging Lake. Hanging Lake was alittle more demanding than the other but I would not have missed seeing the falls and the lake. Actually the hike was really beautiful also. Colorado was the most beautiful of any of the other times that I have been there. Still snow on the mountains yet warm during the day. We went to Aspen for an afternoon and ate lunch there. The bottom of this dinner was a jeans store that was advertising a 75% off sale. Ya! 75% off of $3000. you bet.
It really was a good trip.

Last weekend we went to hear Joyce Meyer. It was wonderful. I really got free in some areas. And then the rest of the weekend we watched all of our grandaughters. It was great. We were tired when Saturday night came but we wouldn't have traded it for anything. Such a privilege to be a part of there lives and be close to them.

We are going to put up the pool this weekend. That will be fun to have up. I am so glad that we can get to water when it is hot. And the tan isn't so bad either but this year I am going to have to watch my sun consumption. My face is showing the effects of to much sun.

It is officially spring at our house. We have 4 batches of new kittens. One batch is ready to find new homes. I told Kinzie that we were going to have to find new homes for them and she asked me why. I told her that it was to expensive to feed them all and I couldn't afford to do it.
A couple of days later she came up to me at church and told me she had money at her house. I asked her what she was going to do with the money and she said she was going to feed the kittens with it.
Later her mom told me that she has been going around the house and collecting change in a container she had and now we know why.
Maybe someday she and Mariah will open an animal shelter together.


Glad to be back. I really don't know why I was in such a toot to get on here again. At the time I had my reasons but today I am out of stuff so more later.
