Trying again

I am going to try to post more often. I want to but time is limited right now so I will just keep things short and sweet.
We have been redoing some of our kitchen. You know how those projects go. We started out with replacing the laminate floor because of some water damage and that led to replacing the railing while the floor is up and while were at it we might as well replace the floor trim and paint the cabinets. Edgy has been like a remodeling angel to us. He has helped us a lot and gave up a lot of his free time to do it.
Last night I was watching him when he saw the railing that he designed and made for us. It was the first time he had seen it since the stain had been put on. His face reminded me of how I look when I see something that I created. Pleased and satisfied. He's fun. Well the floor is going in next Tuesday. I am ready to be done and move on to the next thing which is the wedding.
THE WEDDING. Sounds like something foreboding doesn't it.
Well its not really. Still several projects to get done. But I am looking forward to being able to focus on that and not the house projects also.
I love looking forward to things. Each thing I check off of a list is one more thing in the whole excitement for me. Now Larry. Not so much. They are each a hunt and seize situation. Things to be tackled. Not enjoyed so much. His satisfaction comes from the being done not in the doing. I make him sound so harsh but he's not. He is just a man. Thank God. Two of us like me that spells disaster.
See I am out of sink with this whole blog thing. I will get better.
